Order parts from MobileSentrix

Connect your MobileSentrix account, find parts with your prices and stock, and order on Net Terms or at their checkout.

If you buy parts from MobileSentrix, OnSite can talk to your MobileSentrix account directly. You see your own prices and their stock while you look for a part, add it to your inventory with its SKU and cost, and send a purchase order to MobileSentrix without retyping it. Its tracking comes back to the order.

With MobileSentrix Net Terms, OnSite places the order for you. Without Net Terms, OnSite fills your MobileSentrix cart and you pay at their checkout, then OnSite links the order for you.

Connect your account

Owners and managers connect it, once per store.

  1. Go to Settings › MobileSentrix.
  2. Choose Connect MobileSentrix.
  3. Sign in to your MobileSentrix account on their page. OnSite never sees your MobileSentrix password.
  4. You come back to Settings, connected.
  5. Under How you pay MobileSentrix, choose Net Terms, sent from OnSite or At MobileSentrix's checkout.
  6. For Net Terms, check Ship to, Bill to and Ship by. Each order can change the shipping.
  7. Choose Save.

OnSite adds a vendor called MobileSentrix for these orders, or uses the one you already have.

Find parts

  1. Go to Inventory and choose MobileSentrix, or Find parts in Settings › MobileSentrix.
  2. Search the way you would on their website, such as iPhone 13 screen.
  3. Each result shows your price, how many MobileSentrix has in stock, and whether it's in your inventory already.

To keep a part on the shelf, choose Add to inventory, enter your selling price and choose Add part. It's added with MobileSentrix's SKU and your price there as its cost, with none on hand. Owners and managers add parts.

To order it, set how many and choose Order. It goes on your MobileSentrix draft purchase order at your MobileSentrix price.

Send the order on Net Terms

Open the MobileSentrix draft from Purchase orders. Its MobileSentrix card checks every line with MobileSentrix: the price now, the stock, and anything that stops it going, like a line with no MobileSentrix SKU or a part that's out of stock.

  1. Fix any line the card points out.
  2. Choose Ship by, and Ship to if you have more than one address.
  3. Choose Send to MobileSentrix, then Send it.

Your MobileSentrix cart is emptied first and filled with just this order, so nothing else you had in it gets ordered. The order goes with its PO number as your reference, and the purchase order is placed with MobileSentrix's order number. Line costs change to what MobileSentrix charged.

Note: Batteries that can't fly go by FedEx Ground as a second MobileSentrix order. The purchase order keeps both order numbers.

Pay at MobileSentrix's checkout

If you chose At MobileSentrix's checkout, the MobileSentrix card on the draft offers Add to my MobileSentrix cart instead.

  1. Choose Add to my MobileSentrix cart.
  2. Choose Replace what's in my cart or Add to what's in my cart, then Fill my cart.
  3. Choose Open MobileSentrix checkout, and check out on their site as you usually do. You need to be signed in there with the same account.

The card shows the order waiting In your MobileSentrix cart. OnSite checks for your new MobileSentrix order every few minutes. When it finds one with all of the order's parts, it places the purchase order with MobileSentrix's order number and the prices you paid, and lets whoever filled the cart know. Choose I've checked out to check straight away.

If you took some parts out at checkout, OnSite won't guess: the card lists newer MobileSentrix orders with some of its parts, and you choose Link on the right one. Stop waiting leaves the purchase order as a draft.

Tip: If MobileSentrix's checkout asks for a reference, use the purchase order's number, such as PO-1008.

Follow it to your door

Once it's sent, the MobileSentrix card on the purchase order shows each MobileSentrix order, whether it's been shipped, and its tracking numbers. The tracking and the expected day go onto the purchase order too. Choose Check for the latest. When it arrives, receive it as usual. See Receive a purchase order.

Disconnect

In Settings › MobileSentrix, choose Disconnect MobileSentrix. MobileSentrix opens to sign you out there too, which takes OnSite's access away, then brings you back. Orders already sent stay as they are.
