Terms of service
Updated October 30, 2026
These terms are the licence agreement for OnSite Cloud, the repair shop software at app.onsite.cloud. They're between 2586668 Alberta Inc., which operates OnSite ("OnSite", "we", "us"), and the business that uses it ("you"). By creating an account or using OnSite Cloud, you agree to them for your business. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information.
Your licence
While your subscription is active, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your owners and staff to use OnSite Cloud for your business. You may not resell it, rent it out, copy it, or try to get at its source code. OnSite, its software and its design stay ours.
Pre-release
OnSite is in pre-release. Features may change, and some may not work as you expect. We'll tell you before we remove something you rely on.
Accounts and users
Owners and managers add your staff and choose their roles. Your plan includes a number of users for each location. Keep sign-ins private and don't share them. You're responsible for what's done under your account, and you'll tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone has used it without permission.
Your data
You own the records you keep in OnSite: your customers, devices, repairs, notes, photos, invoices and payments. We use them only to run OnSite for you, to help you when you ask, and to keep it secure. We never sell them or use them for advertising.
You're responsible for having the right to keep your customers' information in OnSite and to email or text them, including under Canada's anti-spam law. You can ask us for an export of your records at any time.
Using OnSite properly
Don't use OnSite to break the law, to send spam, or to store content you have no right to. Don't try to get around its security, reach other businesses' records, or overload it.
Services from other companies
OnSite works with services from other companies: Intuit QuickBooks Online for accounting, Stripe for card payments and for our billing, Twilio for texts, SendGrid for email, and Google Maps for addresses. When you connect one, its own terms apply too, and you authorize OnSite to exchange information with it to do what you ask. You can disconnect QuickBooks or your own Stripe account at any time in Settings. We aren't responsible for other companies' services.
Fees and payment
Subscriptions are priced per location in Canadian dollars, with GST added, and billed in advance monthly or yearly through Stripe. Your plan sets your features and users. If a payment is overdue, your owners and managers see a warning. If it's still unpaid 14 days later, your stores become read-only until it's paid, and you can still look up and print your records.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time by writing to [email protected]. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you've paid for. Fees already paid aren't refunded for the unused part, except where the law requires it.
When it ends
We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or isn't paid. When your subscription ends, we keep your records so you can export them or come back. Ask us and we'll delete them.
Availability
We work to keep OnSite available and back each store up every night, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Disclaimer
OnSite is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those in these terms, including any implied promise that it's fit for a particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here, and we'll email your account owners at least 30 days before a change that takes something away from you takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Alberta.
