Set up your shop
Add your business details, logo and opening hours so tickets, invoices and bookings look right from day one.
Before your first customer, spend a few minutes in Settings. Your business details print on every ticket and invoice, and your hours decide when appointments can be booked.
Owners and managers can change settings. Each section saves on its own and applies to everyone at the store straight away. Can't find something? Type a word like taxes or hours in Find a setting at the top of the Settings menu.
Business profile
Your business profile is printed at the top of tickets, invoices and labels.
- Select Settings in the left menu, then Business profile.
- Fill in Business name, Phone, Email and Website. Leave a field blank to leave it off. A blank business name uses your organization's name.
- Fill in City line, printed under your street address, such as
Vancouver, BC V6Z 1M2. - Fill in Tax numbers to print them on invoices, such as
GST 81234 5678 RT0001. - Select Add a logo and choose a PNG or JPEG of 1 MB or less.
- Select Save business profile.
Your logo prints on tickets, invoices, quotes and loaner agreements, and shows in emails and on your customers' pages.
The How it prints preview beside the form shows the header as customers will see it.
Store hours
Appointments are offered inside your store hours.
- Go to Settings › Store hours.
- Switch each day on or off. For each open day, set the opening and closing times.
- Pick a slot length. Appointments start in steps of this length.
- Select Save store hours.
If a change would leave booked appointments outside the new hours, OnSite lists them first. Select Go back to rethink, or Save the hours anyway.
Holidays
- Under Holidays, select Add a holiday.
- Pick the date and give it a name, such as Christmas Day.
- Leave Closed on, or switch it off and set the hours you're open that day.
- A closed holiday can still take bookings if you switch on Allow bookings.
- Select Save store hours.
What to set up next

- Add OnSite to your website: let customers check on their repair from your site.
- Add your staff: give each person their own sign-in.
- Move from other software: bring your customers and history across.
