OnSite is in pre-release. Sign-up opens at launch. Explore the demo store

Your account

Change your name, photo and password, see where you're signed in, set your approval PIN, and choose your notifications.

My account is where you look after your own sign-in and how OnSite works for you. Select your name at the top right, then My account.

The page also lists your stores and your role at each one. Your role at each store decides what you can see and change there.

Profile

  1. Open the Profile tab.
  2. Select Add a photo to choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF of 2 MB or less. Co-workers see it next to your name. Select Remove photo to go back to your initials.
  3. Change your Name as co-workers and customers see it, then select Save name. Notes you write from then on use the new name.

Your Email is what you sign in with. You can't change it yourself.

Change your password

  1. Select Change password at the top of the page.
  2. Type your Current password.
  3. Type a New password and type it again. It needs 10 or more characters, with a capital, a small letter, a number and a symbol.
  4. Select Change password.

You stay signed in on this device. Your other devices ask for the new password.

Sign-in and security

The Sign-in and security tab shows when you last changed your password, and lets you:

  • Turn two-step sign-in on or off.
  • See your Signed-in devices: each phone or computer you're signed in on, and when it was last used. Select Sign out beside one you don't recognise, or Sign out everywhere else, then change your password.

Approval PIN

Owners and managers see Approval PIN here. It's 4 to 6 digits you type at the counter to approve something a co-worker can't do alone, such as a discount over the store's limit, without signing in. It isn't your password, and each store has its own.

  1. Select Set a PIN, or Change if you have one.
  2. Type the New PIN, then type it again.
  3. Select Save PIN.

Select Remove to take your PIN away.

Notifications

The Notifications tab lists what can reach your bell at the store you're in, such as Mentions, Repairs given to you, Texts about your repairs and Parts that arrived. Each one says when it's sent. Switch off any you don't want. A switched-off kind doesn't show or count as unread.

What you see depends on your role. For example, people who take payments see Online bookings, and owners and managers see Forgotten clock-outs and Time off asked for.

Under By email, switch on Email me a summary of unread notifications at the end of the day to get one email at closing time listing anything still unread. No email is sent when everything is read.

Look

On the Look tab, choose Match my device, Light or Dark. Your choice follows you to every device you sign in on. You can also switch it from Theme in the menu under your name.
