Clock in and keep your timesheet
Clock in and out, take breaks, add time by hand, and submit your timesheet at the end of each pay period.
Your timesheet records the hours you work in each pay period. Clock in and out as you work, or add your time by hand, then submit it for approval at the end of the period.
Clock in and out
- When you start, select Clock in in the top bar. Today's shift starts on your timesheet.
- While you're on the clock, the button shows how long you've worked. Select it to see your shift.
- Going for lunch? Select Take a break. The clock pauses. Select Back from break when you return.
- At the end of your shift, select Clock out.
Your clock follows you across tabs and devices, so you can clock in on the counter computer and clock out on your phone.
Forgot to clock out
If you're still clocked in long after the store closed, the button turns red and says Clock out?. Select it, type when you really finished, and select Clock out at that time. If you're still at work, select Still here and leaving now? Clock out now instead.
Owners and managers are told about forgotten clock-outs, and can clock you out themselves.
Your timesheet
Select My timesheet in the left menu. You see the current pay period, with a strip of the days and a list of your entries. Use the arrows to look at other periods. Your past timesheets are listed below, with their hours and pay.
If you have an hourly rate, you see your gross pay for the period.
Add time by hand
- On My timesheet, select Add time.
- Pick the Day.
- Choose the Kind: Workday, Time-Off (Unpaid), Stat Holiday, Sick Day, Vacation (Paid) or Other.
- Set the Start and End.
- Add Notes if you like. For a workday, repairs you finished that day are added for you.
- Select Add time.
To remove an entry you added by mistake, select the bin beside it.
Submit your timesheet
- At the end of the pay period, open My timesheet.
- Check your entries.
- Select Submit for approval, then confirm.
You need to be clocked out to submit. Once it's submitted, you can't change it unless an owner or manager rejects it.
If your timesheet is rejected, you get a notification with the reason. Fix the entries and submit it again.
Ask for time off
- On My timesheet, select Ask for time off under Time off.
- Choose Whole days or Part of a day, then the dates or times.
- Choose Why, and add a Note if you like.
- Select Ask for it.
Nobody can book you while you're off, and a manager decides. You get a notification when they do. Select Withdraw to take back a request.
For managers, see Approve timesheets and run payroll.
